This journal extension of SpotSound introduces customizable spot sizes, a synthetic CIR data generator for improved cross-scenario generalization, and removes the channel reciprocity assumption via a novel channel estimation method. The system enables precise spatial selective transmission on resource-constrained single-antenna IoT devices.
